  • Print Books from other libraries: If the book you want to read is unavailable, you can also request to borrow it from another Michigan library through inter-library loan (MeL). It is free to you, but it will take a little bit of time to get the book through the mail service (roughly 3-5 business days, sometimes longer), so plan accordingly. You will need to know your HFC library card number to request a book. Please ask for help if you're unsure about any part of the process for requesting a title, librarians love to help!
